Property Access

  • Level parking and easy one-step access.
  • This home utilizes one exterior doorbell style security camera which monitors the entryway only; no other cameras are present at the property.
  • Guests do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These are for member use only.
  • The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking inside the home.
  • Minimum age to reserve: 25 years. The reserving guest must sign the agreement and stay at the property for the reserved dates.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the designated receptacle.
  • This home is not pet friendly. No pets are allowed. Please note that the homeowner's dogs have been in this home previously, but it is not pet friendly for new reservations.
  • Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc.com
  • Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
  • The summer concerts are open to all guests; there may be an admission fee and a cash bar for food and drinks.
  • The North Pavilion hosts several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts. If there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.
  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March). Travelers during winter should come prepared; no refunds or changes will be made for guests who do not have proper vehicles, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. Two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter are $25 plus tax per night.
  • All stays at Eagles Nest homes include an additional amenity fee for facility maintenance.
  • Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.

Parking Information

  • Level parking provided at the property.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Internet is available, but some areas may not have cell reception.
  • The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking basics. A starter set of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, small vial of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These supplies are intended for one or two nights. Hair dryers are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.
  • While at this property, you have access to most amenities at Eagles Nest:
    • Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (summer concerts May-Nov), Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf Course, 24/7 General Store.
    • North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsman's Lodge (unlocked portion only), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun; hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking).
    • Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Frisbee Golf, Archery (restrooms and pavilion coming soon).
    • Vineyard: Food and wine served. Winery day passes are $25 each. Hours: Thur & Fri 4pm-10pm, Sat & Sun 1pm-7pm. All visitors at the Winery must be 16 years or older.
